What is ThermaVein?
ThermaVein uses a procedure called thermocoagulation, which closes the vein walls and causes them to instantaneously and permanently vanish. It is quick, safe, and successful.

How does ThermaVein work?
ThermaVein® is a very safe procedure that uses specifically developed technology to "thermocoagulate"—or seal—the walls of the thread veins. The process of thermocoagulation slowly fuses the vein's two walls together.
ThermaVein® works by creating a thermal lesion inside the vein with a high frequency pulse.
A tiny probe is used to apply a 4Mhz low-radiofrequency current to the skin, which alters the consistency of the vein walls and causes them to adhere to one another and seal. After the veins are sealed, the lymphatic system of the body gradually re-absorbs them, leaving the skin smoother than before.
There might be a need for multiple treatments.
